WA Workers' Compensation
Every case is unique, but some of the more common issues that arise in workers' compensation claims include problems with:
- Claim allowance
- Wage and compensation rate-setting
- Payment of time loss compensation
- Authorization for medical procedures or allowance of medical conditions
- Return-to-work and vocational disputes
- Permanent impairment rating discrepancies
- Total disability pension
- Structured settlements
- Appeals to the Board of Industrial Insurance Appeals or higher courts on these or other issues
Fees are generally based on a percentage of benefits obtained under the claim. In certain cases where representation is needed but no monetary benefits are at issue, other special fee arrangements can be made, on a case-by-case basis.
